Mr John Harman - MBChB FRACS Breast and General Surgeon.
John set up St Marks Breast Centre in 1993 to provide the most comprehensive Breast Clinic in New Zealand.
A fully qualified Breast and General Surgeon with vast experience in all aspects of breast surgery. He is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Breast Section, the American Breast Society and the International Breast Cancer Study Group.
He has written and lectured widely on many aspects of breast surgery in particular breast reconstruction, reduction, augmentation and all aspects of cancer surgery.

Mr Stan Govender - MBChB FRACS Breast and General Surgeon. Stan was born in Durban, South Africa and graduated from the University of Natal in 1988 with a distinction and the prize in General Surgery.
He moved to New Zealand in 1992 and completed postgraduate training obtaining FRACS in 1999. He is a trained breast and general surgeon and practises all aspects of breast surgery including oncologic surgery, sentinal lymph node biopsy, breast reconstruction, breast augmentation and breast reduction.
Stan has been part of the St Marks team since 1999.

Mr Stephen Benson - MBChB FRCS MD FRCS ED
Stephen is a General and Breast Surgeon, married with 2 daughters. He graduated from Birmingham University 1991 and undertook his Basic and Higher Surgical Training in hospitals around the West Midlands, UK. Stephen gained his FRCS in 1996 and following a dedicated period of research was awarded a Medical Doctorate in 2001. In addition Stephen has had a further two and a half years Onco-Plastic Breast Surgery training in the UK and NZ, gaining his FRCS Gen Surg, with a Specialist Breast section in 2005. Later in 2005 Stephen and his family permanently moved to New Zealand where Stephen rotated through Hamilton, North Shore and Auckland Hospitals before taking up his position as Consultant General and Breast Surgeon at St Marks Breast Centre. The combined General and Oncoplastic training enables Stephen to offer a large range of breast surgery for both benign and malignant disease, including breast reconstruction and cosmetic breast surgery such as augmentation and reduction, as well as continuing aspects of his General Surgery such as varicose vein laser and surgical treatments.

Dr Carmen Rosu - MD FRNZCGP Breast Physician. Carmen graduated from Romania and specialized in General Medicine in 1996. She came to New Zealand in 2001 and worked in General Practice for two and a half years obtaining her Fellowship in 2005. She joined St Marks in May 2005.
Carmen is a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Breast Physicians and is on the General Medical Register.

Dr Noreen Tracey - MB BCh MRCP FRCR FFRRCSI. Attended medical school at The Queens University in Belfast graduating in 1986. Three years in General Medicine obtaining her MRCP before entering the radiology training programme. In 1994, obtained a double fellowship in radiology and then worked as a consultant radiologist in The Belfast City hospital specialising in breast radiology. She spent 8 years working in a diagnostic breast clinic and the NHS Breast Screening programme before moving to New Zealand in 2002. She worked as Clinical Director at Auckland BreastScreen from 2002 to 2005. Returning to Auckland to work at St Marks.

Dr Margaret Weston - MBChB FRANZCR. Margie was born in Wellington. She attended Otago medical School, graduating in 1986. Margie developed an interest in radiology in Auckland, and did sub-speciality training in breast imaging in Perth, Australia. She has worked at St Marks Breast Centre since 1998.
