Medical Radiation Technician

The St Marks Group, based in Remuera, is seeking an experienced Mammographer to be part of our dedicated
multi-disciplinary team and to help make a difference in woman's lives.
Our radiographers provide both screening and diagnostic mammography.

To be successful in this position you must have:

  • Experience in mammography
  • Excellent communication/organizational skills
  • A welcoming and positive attitude to support clients as well as staff members
  • Be able to function efficiently and effectively as part of our team
  • Be registered with the NZMRT Board
  • Hold a full current Annual Practicing Certificate

St Marks is situated in a very pleasant location near the famous Newmarket shopping centre.
Working conditions are excellent and remuneration and training is offered in accordance with experience.
Relocation expenses may be met for suitable candidates.

Lead MRT

Breastscreen Auckland, based in Remuera, is seeking an experienced Mammographer to provide professional leadership and management within a screening programme which has an excellent reputation for high standards and results.

Breastscreen Auckland is situated in a very pleasant location near the famous Newmarket shopping centre. Working conditions are excellent and the salary offered would be commensurate with experience. Relocation expenses may be met for a suitable candidate.

Lead MRT responsibilities include:

Quality Assurance

  • Performing screening mammograms and assessment clinic work for the Ministry of Health’s National Screening Unit
  • Continued development of our service in line with Company policy and the NSU National Policy and Quality Standards

Specific tasks include:

  • Organising MRT meetings
  • Assisting the Programme Manager with monthly MRT peer reviews
  • Training and development of new MRT’s. 
  • Assisting the Clinical Director and Programme Manager with NSU Internal Monitoring and Audit responses

You Must:

  • Be registered with the NZMRT Board
  • Hold a full Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Hold the NZIMRT Certificate of Proficiency in Mammography(or its equivalent) within 2 years of commencing with the BSAL programme

Vein Physician

St Marks Vein Clinic in Remuera, Auckland seeks a vocationally registered Specialist Vein Physician to join our well established practice and specialist vein team consisting of surgeons, vein physician and ultrasonographer.  You will have experience in ultrasound guided sclerotherapy and endovenous laser treatment, both treatments being performed in our busy, modern clinic.  You will also possess outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills.

St Marks Vein Clinic is an Affiliated Provider to Southern Cross Healthcare and you will be a current approved provider to Southern Cross Healthcare or possess the relevant qualifications to be registered as a provider.

An excellent remuneration package is offered.

Registered Nurse

 

A busy and dynamic Remuera Breast Centre seeks a Registered Nurse with surgical experience. Some oncology and breast care experience is an advantage. This position is 40 hours a week, with occasional Saturday work.
